Comments: Inform the staff that you are vegan; there are dishes on the menu that can be suitable. These include their own plant burger, dosa potato cakes with avocado salsa verde, caponata on sourdough toast and cashew nut cheese cake for dessert. A breakfast menu is served until noon and a lunch menu from noon to 2.30pm. Soya milk is always available on the drinks menu.

This restaurant has changed hands. It is now called 'Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar'. The soup of the day is always vegan (£6) and comes with homemade sourdough. They also do a vegan Pad Thai Rice Noodles for £10.50 with peanut and chilli sauce and Asian greens. They can make their open sandwich vegan (sticky aubergine, avocado, sunblush tomatoes, served with triple cooked chips) for £8 and they said other dishes could be made vegan. They had vegan cheese. None of the cakes are vegan.
