Comments: There is a good selection of labelled vegan dishes on the menu.
While you choose (all served with Lebanese flatbread): Olives (selection of green & black olives, marinated in olive oil, herbs & lemon), olive oil & pomegranate molasses dip, za’atar & olive oil dip.
Cold mezze: Hummus (served with Lebanese bread), harissa hummus (served with Lebanese bread), mutabbal (smoked aubergine puree, tahini, hint of garlic & lemon juice, served with Lebanese bread), makdous (pickled baby aubergines stuffed with walnuts, peppers, garlic & spices), warak inab (vine leaves stuffed with rice, herbs & spices), tabouleh salad (finely chopped parsley with wheat, tomato, onion, lemon juice & olive oil dressing), fattoush salad (mixed green salad, peppers, tomato, cucumber, parsley, onions, sumac & toasted Lebanese bread with pomegranate & olive oil dressing).
Hot mezze: Falafel (side tahini sauce), ful moukala (pan fried broad beans, coriander, onions, garlic & lemon juice), batata harrah (spicy sautéed potato cubes, chilli, garlic & coriander), spinach fatayer (spinach & pomegranate kernels, dough pastry, oven baked).
Mezze combo (for 2 or 3 people sharing): Platter of hummus, mutabbal, tabouleh salad, falafel & warak inab, served with Lebanese bread.
Moroccan tagines (served with a choice of rice, couscous or bread): Berber tagine (braised carrot, parsnip, swede, butternut squash & sweet potato in a savoury Moroccan sauce with fragrant ras al hanout spices, moussaka tagine (aubergine, potato, onion & peppers in a light savoury tomato sauce).
Dessert: Sorbet (mango or raspberry).
