Comments: Vegan options are available. Most of the homemade soups are suitable; for example leek & potato and roasted red pepper & tomato. Other starters are spring rolls, samosas and crispy garlic mushrooms. The vegan main courses are pasta with tomato & basil sauce, green lentil bolognese, vegetable & chickpea curry, vegetable & red kidney bean chilli, puff pastry pie with mixed beans in a tomato sauce and jacket potato with homemade ratatouille. Given notice they can buy soya cream and make mushroom Stroganoff or mushroom korma. For desserts they usually have fresh fruit to make a fruit salad or fruit compote in the freezer. A vegan nut roast is served on Sundays.
