Comments: 4 Star bed and breakfast. They provide a vegan breakfast menu as follows:
Fruit juice, cereal selection with soya milk, fruit salad, fruit compote or fresh fruit, soya yogurt.
Vegan cooked breakfast of large flat mushroom, potato waffle/hash browns, tomato or baked beans, vegetarian sausage, served with bread, toast or rolls or beans, mushrooms or tomato on toast.
Freshly made toast with preserves.
Pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee.
They will give guests assistance getting to the Centre for Alternative Technology if given sufficient notice. All rooms are en-suite.

Comments: The pub is welcoming to vegans with tasty food and very helpful staff. The menu changes every few months with clearly marked vegan dishes always available such as homemade soup, homemade portobello mushroom burger with fries & vegan coleslaw and chargrill oyster mushroom skewers with kale two ways & hand torn fries (all pictured). They also do Sunday roast dinners; previously served examples include nut roast and vegan sticky BBQ brisket.

Comments: They can do a vegan breakfast. The veggie sausages are suitable and made from vegetables, rather than a meat substitute. The hand cut chips are also sfv, cooked in their own oil. The soup is normally vegan friendly.
